Our partnership with R3V3NGE & Everreach Labs
The Everreach ecosystem is focused on three main components: deep connection through shared experience, immersive evolving lore, and high quality games. The Everreach Labs team is united by the mission of promoting community relationships by interactive gaming.This translates to R3V3NGE, their first gaming project. R3V3NGE, which is powered by the Unreal Engine 5, provides an AAA multiplayer experience with a mysterious story and genuinely original gameplay.
Everreach Labs is a collaboration of creative minds from the gaming industry, including Gameloft, Nintendo and Ubisoft. With huge partners like Twitch and Epic Games, they show their dedication, commitment, and plans. BCA investments is very happy to be working together with the Everreach team. Our strategic partnership allows us to support them during the creation of R3V3NGE. We are very excited for what the future holds!
The R3V3NGE game
Everreach is a virtual world that is inhabited by humans and currently in danger because of a sentient virus named MARA. Players and spectators must unite to stop MARA.
R3V3NGE is unique, because it combines the thrill of FPS competition with spectator participation. Unique mechanics allow spectators to interact and influence gameplay through the Twitch API. It brings casual gaming, standalone gaming, e-sports and streaming together.
The current known core gameplay elements are as follows:
- Raiders: Four players engage in FPS combat within a digital world, focusing on collecting data and resources, battling waves of enemies, and ultimately extracting with valuable items for scoring and rewards.
- Guides: Four spectator players who provide real-time assistance to Raiders by offering tactical information like waypoints, resource locations, and danger alerts. They facilitate communication between the Raiders and the broader spectator audience, known as Oracles.
- Oracles: A potentially unlimited number of viewers who can influence the game by voting on game-changing events, activating environment elements, and providing resources to players through the Twitch interface.
Successful completion leads them to a “Safehouse,” determined by Oracle votes, where they can upgrade and prep for the challenging “Extraction” phase. Here, in a complex maze filled with puzzles and relentless enemy waves, collaboration peaks, but tension rises as one player may become corrupt and turn against the team, adding a layer of unpredictable betrayal to the gameplay.
