BCAi: Jack, it’s a pleasure to have you here! Before we truly start off with this AMA, please give an introduction about yourself. Who are you, where are you based and what is your role?
Jack (FOTA): So my name is Jack. And I’m Global Community Manager of FOTA Metaverse. I have been with FOTA since the beginning for the set up of our social and community as well as marketing plan.

BCAi: Great. I understand your team is based in Vietnam. So how many people are working on FOTA at the moment?
Jack (FOTA): Well our total team will be more than 50 members. And we are working in many location from Singapore, Vietnam, and New ZealandBCAi: Wow big team!

BCAi: So let’s go into the project. Can you briefly tell what ‘FOTA – Fight of the Ages’ is all about? What is the goal of the game? Why should people start playing and what will they be able to do in the game?
Jack (FOTA): So the first is about our game.
FOTA is a Triple-A MOBA Game Project published by DJINN PTE.LTD. Our Metaverse creates a fantasy universe with 8 races at the time of launch, including: Omni, Dragon, Elf, Human, Keen, Demon, Beast, Ogre existing on three worlds: Greenland, Earth and Nightmare. Among these 8 races and 3 worlds, players are allowed to choose a variety of characters to start their journey.
To come up with FOTA Metaverse, we have try to solve the problem of the traditional game.
In the past, players have accepted that their items are stuck forever in games and can’t move freely. Blockchain gaming serves to unchain those barriers and carry even more exciting developments. At FOTA, we implement Blockchain technology to:
✅ Absolute Ownership: FOTA provides the NFT Assets as a tool for players to control and manage their crypto-asset, such as Heroes, Skin, Weapon, and other equipment in their private wallet.
✅ Metaverse Economy: Blockchain acts as a layer 1 to power the entire financial and economic activities such as payment gateway, asset exchange, asset rent,…
For our Vision, we want to become a MetaFi Platform. So in the MetaFi Industry, FOTA will focus on GameFi, SocialFi and Metaverse.

BCAi: I looked at your website and what instantly appealed to me about FOTA is Microsoft Mesh technology to be implemented. What is Microsoft Mesh and what are the biggest benefits of this technology? I think many wonder about this.
Jack (FOTA): Actually, this is a very good question. Because the community really want to know how the Mesh and MR Technology look likeFOTA integrates the Microsoft Mesh technology, a Platform built by Microsoft Corporation to explore and experience the Metaverse in the best way. Microsoft Mesh is the world’s first Platform that fully supports MR technology.
MR (Mixed reality), also known as hybrid reality, is a world mixed between reality and virtual world in which real and virtual objects both exist and interact in real-time. MR is a combination of VR and AR technologies. In MR, the things of the real world and the virtual world will interact with each other. Mixed reality technology is similar to AR. But not monotonous with graphics or text on the real background, this technology focuses on systems, links to create an environment full of facilities such as SKYPE phone calls or Microsoft Hololens to connect all multimedia content and entertainment.
BCAi (FOTA): Wow sounds awesome!
Jack (FOTA): and we already received the HoloLens 2 Prototype from Microsoft to develop an application on their Mixed Reality Platform. And we have to scale up the 3D Dimension to match the surrounding environment. Moreover, we have to utilize the experience with this device so that players can control their actions within this 3D space. And I promised this is a stunning experience

BCAi: Next question: The market conditions are not helping at the moment. How does this impact FOTA’s roadmap?
Jack (FOTA): So you know that at the moment, the situation is very bad for the entire market. Many GameFi projects stop their project. This is the same with 2017-2019, which means that bad projects will die and the market will get purification. So this is a good chance for us to develop our project and stand out from different competitors.
BCAi: So are there any delays on your side? Can we still expect IDO in March? or later?
Jack (FOTA): We nearly finish the partnership with Lauchpad and CEX. The IDO and IEO will happen at the end of March. I hope at that time the market will get better

BCAi: Let’s talk about the FOTA token. What are the most important token utilities? And can you explain which Play-to-Earn opportunities the game offers?
Jack (FOTA): Because $FOTA Token will be used to power the virtual economy inside FOTA Metaverse, it must have many function:???? Purchase Hero, Equipment, Skin in the game: Players will have to buy initial Hero as well as Common-class Equipment. Moreover, to level up their Hero and Equipment, it will require an amount of Aether as the energy for that activity. All common-class Heroes, Skin, Equipment, Aether can be purchased on our Official Store via $FOTA.

To start playing “Fota”, how much money do I need? Is it required that I need to have NFT characters or a specific number of $FOTA tokens?
Honestly, everyone will be required to have at least 1 hero with a weapon and skin to enter the game, so that everyone can complete Missions in PvE Mode and Battles in PvP Mode. and the price of each Hero will range from 100$ to 200$.
BCAi: Question: What are plans for global expansion? Are you focusing on the market at this time or focus on building and developing or getting customers and users, or partnerships?
Jack (FOTA): This is a good question directly from BCA CEO :v Okie, yes we do have a plan for Global Expansion. We have already finished the Marketing Plan and will execute it soon. Moreover, we are working with many Game Guild to ensure that the game will reach many traditional and entry-level players.

Michael: Will the Fotawallet be EVM compatible, as I’ve heard? What about the ability to purchase items/tokens using a credit card in the game? + What is the approach for game token withdrawals, as I’ve seen a lot of p2e get it wrong? credit: @Miichael69
Jack (FOTA): The FOTA Wallet is the EVM Base Chain, so it is very easy to use. The reason behind our decision to create our own wallet is that FOTAWallet will help users more easily access many DeFi products inside our Metaverse. Moreover, we will have the Avatar as our NFT also, so it will be much more beautiful to display it on our wallet.
For the Credit Card, at the moment we can not integrate it into our system because we will need to work with the government for that.
